Crysti Allen

Human Resources

Crysti began her career at Pella in June of 1983 as inventory control/purchasing.  In 1996 Human Resources was added to her job responsibilities.  Currently she handles all HR responsibilities and manages the order entry department.  In her spare time she volunteers, enjoys biking and spending time with her family.
karl allen

Karl Allen

General Manager & Senior Vice President

1983 graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa with a BA Degree in Business Management, and a minor in Economics.  Karl started with Prairie Pella in May of 1983 as inside sales and quickly transitioned to outside sales in August 1983.  His sales territory was the Creston, IA area and then Ames, IA until 1989.  Karl became a Commercial Sales rep in 1989, and then stepped up to the Operations Manager role in 1996.  Following that, he was promoted to General Manager in July 2000.  In his spare time Karl enjoys spending time with family, traveling, bicycling and fly fishing.

Chris Boley

President & CEO

Chris joined Pella Company in 1975, and has worked all aspects of the business: warehouse, production, service, and sales. He’s proudly served as President since 1982, and actively serves as a co-founder/ Executive Board Member of Wildwood Hills Ranch. He has an MBA from The University of Iowa. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and flying.

Bruce Grenier


For 39 years and counting, he’s loyally & reliably served Prairie Pella, Inc. as head of Accounting, managing the operations in Iowa / Illinois and its subsidiary in Wyoming. Bruce previously worked for Pella Corporation for 16+ years in various staff, supervisory and management positions, including Assistant to Treasurer and Credit Manager. Bruce is a graduate of Iowa State University (Accounting) and Drake University (MBA). Outside of work, he’s a busy husband (38 years), father of two, grandfather of three and an avid Cyclone fan. He’s actively involved in Knights of Columbus, Iowa Society of CPA's, his local church, Des Moines Golf & Country Club and previously in Lions club.

Matt  Linder

Operations Manager

I started at Pella Windows in 1998. I worked my way through the business.  Started as counter sales/sales support, then entering the sales force, before landing in my current position as operations manager and fulfillment manager.  My goal in my job is to keep things running smoothly and making our customers happy.  In my spare time, I enjoy bicycling, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and traveling.  I have been married 18 years to my wife Lynn and have a son, Cody.
keith rudd

Keith  Rudd

Director of Customer Service

Keith has 40 + years of experience in the window and door industry. He began his career with Pella Corporation in 1977 and supervised the research & development testing lab for 10 years and spent another 10 years at corporate in field/customer service, becoming corporate customer service manager. Keith was one of two corporate field trouble shooters before becoming a sales branch service manager for 20 years.

Gordon  Staley

Trade & Commercial Sale Manager

Gordon Staley started with Prairie Pella, Inc. in 1994 as an outside sales representative for the Quad Cities metro market. In 1999 he accepted the Regional Sales Managers position. Gordon has extensive experience in the residential and commercial markets. In addition to his career at Pella, Gordon has volunteered many hours to local charities and served on several boards. Including the Quad City Builders & Remodelers and the Bettendorf School Board.
